About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Plastics Process Engineer to spearhead the optimization of our production workflows and elevate our injection molding capabilities. You will drive technical excellence by refining manufacturing cycles, implementing advanced tooling solutions, and mentoring technical staff to achieve superior product quality and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities-
Engineer and refine injection molding processes to maximize throughput while minimizing material waste and operational costs.

Execute root cause investigations to resolve complex production bottlenecks and implement long-term corrective solutions.

Partner with design teams to ensure seamless transition from product concept to high-volume manufacturability.

Spearhead capital projects involving equipment modernization, mold setup, and the integration of emerging plastic processing technologies.

Elevate team performance by providing technical mentorship on best practices for plastic extrusion, mixing, and mold maintenance.

Analyze production data via ERP systems to identify trends and deploy strategies that boost overall equipment effectiveness.
Qualifications-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.

5+ years of hands-on experience in injection molding and tooling environments.

Advanced proficiency in CAD design software and technical documentation.

Deep expertise in plastic material properties, extrusion, and mold setup protocols.

Proven ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and process-related challenges.

Certification or practical application of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

Experience utilizing ERP software for production planning and inventory management.

Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional engineering initiatives.
