The Opportunity
As Practice Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the hospital while helping to shape its culture and support the ongoing development of the team. This role blends leadership, organization, and strategy, offering the chance to make a real impact on how the practice runs and how the team thrives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and support hospital team members to foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative work environment
- Oversee staff scheduling, recruiting, onboarding, training, inventory management, and facility operations
- Manage key HR processes, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance
- Monitor hospital financial performance, including budgeting, payroll, revenue trends, and key performance indicators
- Ensure an exceptional client experience through efficient operations and outstanding customer service
- Support marketing, client engagement, and community outreach initiatives
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of leadership or management experience in a professional, service-based environment
- Demonstrated HR experience, including hiring, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience reviewing budgets, financial reports, and operational metrics
- A collaborative leadership style with a calm, solutions-focused approach
- Experience with veterinary or healthcare software preferred but not required
- Bachelor’s level degree from an accredited college
