Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software, coordinating all phases of construction scheduling and timeline management.
- Oversee the preparation and review of construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Manage project budgets by tracking costs, controlling expenditures, and utilizing construction estimating tools like HeavyBid or similar software.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and project progression.
- Ensure compliance with all construction regulations, safety standards, and regulatory requirements across multiple sites.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam to monitor project progress, document changes, and facilitate collaboration among stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction site activities, enforce safety protocols, and resolve issues promptly.
- Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes to maintain project scope integrity.
- Lead project meetings to review progress updates, address challenges proactively, and keep all team members aligned on project goals.
Skills
- Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a strong understanding of civil engineering principles such as Civil 3D or Schematics.
- Expertise in construction scheduling tools including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Proficiency with project management software like ProCore or Bluebeam for effective project tracking and communication.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost management strategies using HeavyBid or similar platforms.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing teams in a construction management role; capable of motivating teams toward shared goals.
- Deep understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies affecting infrastructure projects.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects simultaneously.
