G&T continues to provide exceptional service to the Class One railroads, Steamship lines, Fortune 500 companies, and many small businesses that require assistance with freight-related issues and solutions. We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals who are willing to learn and adapt to the challenges that arise within the transportation industry.
Expectations and duties:
- This position requires maintaining a valid drivers license and DOT medical card
- Show the ability to lead and/or work with crews to complete the task
- Work safely and efficiently
- Travel as required (Expenses are covered)
- Work extended hours and weekends as required
- Competency with operating equipment (Trainable operator)
- Continued ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
Preferred previous work experience:
- Operating Heavy equipment and forklifts
- Basic hands-on mechanical abilities
- Railyard / Shipping yards
- Construction trades
- Rigging and crane work
- Warehousing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
