Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and maintaining industrial equipment and machinery with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that all components are assembled according to detailed schematics and blueprints, contributing to the production of high-quality products. Responsibilities
- Work with a team to assemble large and small industrial vibratory screening machines and rotating shaft screen type.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to do some fitting and welding if needed.
- Ability to follow assembly procedures.
- Ability to read engineering blueprints, in standard and metric dimensions.
- Familiar with various types of fasteners (Nuts, bolts, washers, etc.).
- Familiar with various types of hand/power tools (including but not limited to pneumatic impacts, grinder, grease guns, torque wrench, etc).
- Ability to read a tape measure standard and metric.
- Experience using overhead cranes.
- This includes but is not limited to bolting angles to plate, using fixturing devices to located components, bolting components in the correct location according to engineering print, welding components in place when needed, applying Loctite to bolts when needed, etc.
- Conveyor assembly (affixing conveyor components to already fabricated conveyor frame, installing guards, installing pulleys and gear motors, etc.)
- Assembly of bearing/exciter shafts (machined components, pressing large bearings, installing o-rings, applying grease or oil to bearing assembly when complete)
- Visually inspecting individual parts before assembling.
- Assembly of drive arrangements (Motor, drive base, guards, etc.)
- Assembly prep work: prepping mating surfaces with primer, cleaning machined surfaces, etc..
- Setting up and test running/calibrating vibratory screen (includes measuring screen stroke(amount of movement machine has), making adjustments to machine if needed)
- Packaging loose screen sub-components when assembly and test running is complete to be shipped to customer.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
