Sunset Park Community Services is an OMH (MHOTRS) program in Brooklyn. We provide comprehensive mental health services to children, adults and families.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate couples and family clinician to join our team. This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing high-quality, person-centered mental health care to individuals with a range of behavioral health needs. We are seeking a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (MHC-LP, LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT) with experience delivering evidence-based interventions in an outpatient setting to families and couples. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the clinician will support clients in achieving their goals through individualized treatment planning and therapy.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and couples therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral management techniques.
- Complete clinical documentation including progress notes, safety plans, and treatment plans.
- Assess multidimensional needs of clients, develop and implement care plans
- Participate in clinical meetings, patient care conferences and informal discussion with health care and mental health program staff.
- Provide patient psycho-education relative to mental health issues.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the management and care of the child/family and adult behavioral health population.
- Participate in supervision, staff meetings and case conferencing.
Skills
- Licensed as a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (MHC-LP, LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT)
- Minimum of one year (1) of experience working in the behavioral health field with families and couples.
Pay: $50.00 per hour
