The Opportunity
We're expanding our machining operations and are seeking experienced CNC Machinists/Setup Technicians to join our second-shift team.
We are hiring machinists with experience operating either:
- 3-Axis Haas Vertical Mills, or
- Large-Format SNK Bridge Aerospace Mills with Fanuc Controls
This is a hands-on role for individuals who enjoy solving problems, working independently, and producing precision-machined components. Successful candidates will have opportunities to mentor others, support continuous improvement efforts, and grow into future leadership roles.
Schedule
- Monday – Thursday
- 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM (4 x 10-hour schedule)
- Three-day weekends every week
- $2.00/hour Shift Differential
- Overtime opportunities available
What You'll Do
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform multiple machine setups and changeovers as production demands require
- Edit CNC programs and make necessary machine offsets and adjustments
- Utilize probing systems and inspection equipment to ensure machining accuracy
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other precision measuring tools
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues
- Select proper tooling, feeds, and speeds for aluminum, steel, and other materials
- Maintain quality standards and ensure parts meet print specifications and tolerances
- Work closely with production, engineering, and inventory teams to support manufacturing schedules
- Assist with training and mentoring less-experienced machinists
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
Preferred Experience Includes One or More of the Following:
- 5+ years of CNC mill setup and operation experience
- Experience with 3-Axis Haas machining centers
- Experience operating large-format SNK Bridge Mills or similar bridge-style machining centers
- Experience with Fanuc CNC controls
- Experience editing CNC programs at the machine
- CAM programming experience (Surfcam experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of tooling selection, machining practices, and inspection methods
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T requirements
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Tools & Equipment
Candidates should own basic machinist hand tools and inspection equipment, including:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Test indicators
- Other common precision measuring tools
Physical Requirements
- Frequently stand and walk for extended periods
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Bend, reach, kneel, and work around large equipment
- Work safely around moving machinery, overhead cranes, and industrial equipment

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
