Parallel Home Care Services seeks an energetic and motivated part-time RN or LPN who will be responsible for the delivery of quality home health patient care in Marquette, MI area. Competitive wages and mileage offered!
Duties
- Provides skilled nursing care for a variety of patient populations in their residences. Nursing care includes patient-centered physical interventions, emotional support, and patient and caregiver education.
- Coordinates the admission of a patient to the agency.
- RN/LPN performs comprehensive head-to-toe evaluations, ongoing monitoring of the patient's overall condition, and coordinating ancillary services.
- Prepares accurate and timely documentation in an EMR.
- Frequent communication with area physicians and nurses, as well as ancillary therapy staff including, but not limited to, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy.
- On call duty one weekend per month
Education/Experience
- Must have a nursing diploma by an accredited nursing school.
- One or more years of experience in community/home health is preferred, but not required. Willing to train the right applicant regardless of experience.
- Must have criminal background check prior to caring for patients.
Job Type
License
- Must have valid Michigan RN or LPN license
- Must have valid Driver's License and a safe, reliable vehicle with current registration/insurance.
