Our Environmental Services team plays an important role in creating a clean, comfortable and welcoming home for the older adults we serve. If you take pride in your work, enjoy being part of a team and are looking for a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, we would love to hear from you.
As an Environmental Services Housekeeping Assistant, you will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment throughout our beautiful campus. Responsibilities include:
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms and other assigned spaces
- Dust and polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, doors, switch plates and other surfaces
- Sweep, mop, disinfect and maintain floors, corners and baseboards
- Vacuum, deodorize and maintain carpeted areas
- Clean walls, ceilings and other surfaces as needed
- Clean hallways, stairways, elevators and elevator tracks
- Empty trash and recycling and replace liners
- Clean both occupied and vacant rooms as assigned
- Follow established cleaning, sanitation and safety procedures
- Complete additional duties as directed by the supervisor
The successful candidate will:
- Be dependable, punctual and able to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Take pride in maintaining clean and welcoming spaces
- Be able to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
- Be receptive to coaching and feedback
- Have the ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience is preferred, but we encourage dependable candidates with a strong work ethic to apply
