Job Summary

Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, incorporating literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning strategies.
- Lead classroom activities that promote active learning, curiosity, and positive behavior management tailored to preschool-aged children.
- Assess student progress regularly using formative and summative assessments; analyze student performance data to inform instructional adjustments and academic interventions.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design, instructional strategies, and classroom management techniques to ensure consistency and high-quality education.
- Communicate effectively with families regarding their child's development, progress, and any behavioral or educational concerns; provide guidance on supporting learning at home.
- Manage classroom environment to ensure safety, inclusivity, and compliance with educational regulations; utilize conflict management skills to address behavioral challenges constructively.
- Integrate learning technology and LMS (Learning Management Systems) to enhance instructional delivery and track student progress efficiently.
- Support students with special needs by implementing individualized plans in accordance with MTSS (Multi-tiered Systems of Support) frameworks; participate in ongoing professional development related to special education practices.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development theories, and Montessori or similar pedagogical approaches.
- Proven experience in curriculum development across literacy, math, physical education, and library services for preschoolers.
- Strong classroom management skills combined with behavior management techniques suitable for young children.
- Ability to analyze student assessment data for instructional planning and academic interventions.
- Familiarity with assessment-driven instruction methods and working with students with disabilities or special needs.
- Experience utilizing LMS platforms and integrating learning technology into daily lessons.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and families; adept at conflict management when addressing behavioral issues.
- Knowledge of educational compliance standards and regulations relevant to preschool settings; experience working in private or preschool environments is preferred.
- Ability to design engaging instructional activities that incorporate physical education, literacy education, and library resources.
- Strong organizational skills for lesson planning, documentation, and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to early childhood learning.
