Responsibilities
Wash, dry, iron, and fold laundry for residents and facility linen
Sort and prioritize laundry tasks to meet deadlines and ensure efficient operations
Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and safety
Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Use laundry equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any issues or malfunctions to management
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive resident information with discretion
Requirements
Previous experience in a senior care or community-based organization is preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
