Alchemy Hair Extension Studios is a specialist studio — a place where hair extensions aren't an add-on squeezed between color appointments. They're the entire craft. We're building a team-based studio where stylists grow into true extension artists, backed by 15 years of industry expertise, a proprietary hair line in development, and a brand clients travel for.
We think of great extensionists the way you'd think of a great tattoo artist — a specialist whose work is worth booking out for, whose name clients ask for, and whose skill only compounds over time. If that's the career you want to build, keep reading.
About the Role
We're looking for a licensed hair stylist ready to go deep in the world of extensions — whether you're an experienced pro looking for the right studio, or a driven stylist ready to be trained into a specialist from the ground up. You'll work in a collaborative studio environment (no chair-renting silos), learn alongside a master extension specialist with 15 years behind the chair, and build a book of clients who come back because the work is that good.
What You'll Do
- Perform hair extension installs, maintenance, moves, and removals across multiple methods
- Deliver consultations that set clear expectations and turn first-timers into long-term clients
- Provide cut, color, and blonding services (depending on your track and experience)
- Uphold the studio's standards for quality, care, and client experience on every appointment
- Grow your own clientele with the studio's marketing, brand, and support behind you
- Contribute to a positive, team-first culture — we win together
Two Ways In
We're hiring for one of two tracks, depending on where you are in your career:
Apprentice Track — For the stylist who's licensed, hungry, and ready to specialize. You don't need extension experience — you need drive, coachability, and great hands. You'll go through a structured apprenticeship with hands-on training, skill demonstrations, and 30/60/90-day milestones built to turn you into a confident extension specialist. This is a real career path, not a "figure it out yourself" chair.
Experienced Stylist Track — For the established stylist who already has skills (and ideally a clientele) and wants a studio that matches their ambition. Bring your book, plug into our brand and systems, and grow into a senior specialist role with premium earning potential.

What We're Looking For
- Active Colorado cosmetology license (required)
- A genuine love for the craft and for making clients feel incredible
- Reliability, professionalism, and a team-first attitude — no drama, no ego
- Strong communication and consultation skills
- Extension experience is a plus, but the right attitude and hands beat a résumé — we'll train the rest
