Position Overview:
GotSafety is looking for a creative and motivated Video Editor / AI Media Specialist to join our growing media team. This position focuses heavily on video editing, AI-generated media creation, and post-production work for safety training videos, marketing campaigns, and online learning platforms.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and be comfortable using AI image and video generation tools. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys combining traditional video editing with modern AI-powered creative workflows.
We are looking for someone who is creative, adaptable, organized, and willing to accept constructive criticism in a professional team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Edit professional video content using Adobe Premiere Pro.
· Create engaging safety training videos, promotional videos, social media clips, and YouTube content.
· Use AI image and video generation tools to create visual assets and creative content.
· Organize and manage video projects, footage, graphics, and audio files.
· Add transitions, sound effects, music, subtitles, graphics, and visual effects to video projects.
· Assist with video shoots, setup, and production support when needed.
· Collaborate with the marketing and media teams to develop creative concepts and campaigns.
· Create thumbnails, graphics, backgrounds, and other visual materials using Canva.
· Maintain up-to-date spreadsheets and databases.
· Manage projects and workflows using Trello boards.
· Write scripts for safety training videos.
· Post content across various social media platforms.
· Maintain consistent branding and visual quality across all company media.
· Help improve editing workflows and AI-assisted production processes.
Qualifications:
· Experience editing videos in Adobe Premiere Pro is required.
· Experience with AI image generation and AI video generation tools is strongly preferred.
· Experience with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Canva, or similar creative software is a plus.
· Strong understanding of video pacing, storytelling, transitions, and audio editing.
· Knowledge of YouTube, social media, and digital video trends.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
· Willingness to accept constructive criticism and apply feedback professionally.
· Basic camera, lighting, and audio knowledge is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
