Duties
- Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using proper dishwashing techniques and sanitizing procedures
- Clear and reset tables promptly to ensure a clean and inviting dining space
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic plating or ingredient handling under supervision
- Support bussing duties by removing used dishes, cleaning tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Follow food safety management protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all items
- Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of supplies, dishware, or trash disposal safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations through regular cleaning and sanitizing
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience or familiarity with food service operations is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and basic food handling practices
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cleaning and sanitation routines
- Basic knife skills or culinary experience is a plus for supporting food prep tasks
- Experience in banquet or catering environments is advantageous but not essential
- A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
