Electronics Repair Technician – Component-Level (Game Consoles & Controllers)
We are looking for a motivated, technically minded, and growth-driven electronics technician to join our repair team. This role involves complex, precision-level board repairs, and is suited only for those who are serious about developing real hardware skills.
What We Do:
We specialize in component-level repairs for gaming hardware — including consoles and controllers from Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, and Atari. Our daily workflow includes:
- HDMI, USB, and IC replacements
- Retimer diagnostics and power rail tracing
- Analog stick and trigger module repairs
- Rebuilding torn pads and broken traces under microscope
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Perform board-level diagnostics using oscilloscope, multimeter, thermal camera, and schematic diagrams
- Identify short circuits, faulty chips, broken lines, and open signals
- Work under microscope for precision soldering and micro-repair tasks
- Log repairs, submit photos and diagnostics through internal systems
- Learn and follow structured workflows but also take initiative to solve non-standard issues
- Handle disassembly/reassembly of devices like disc drives, fans, and shields with care and logic
Who We’re Looking For:
- Ambitious, focused, self-driven technician — not afraid to figure things out independently
- Fast learner with strong hands-on skills and fine motor control
- Familiar with schematics and capable of tracing a signal or understanding circuit behavior
- Previous experience with soldering and diagnostics is required
- Prior work on phones, game consoles, laptops, or small electronics is a big plus
- Someone who wants to grow as a specialist, not just clock in and clock out
This job is not for you if:
- You’re looking for easy plug-and-play replacements
- You expect someone to walk you through every step
- You lack discipline, initiative, or technical curiosity
- Your soldering is “good enough” instead of precise and reliable
- You can’t stay focused in a fast-paced shop environment
We Offer:
- Full-time position in a clean, professional repair lab
- Training on advanced tools and processes — if you already have the fundamentals
- Opportunity to build a career, not just a paycheck
- Pay starts and goes up based on experience and performance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
