Compensation: $100,000–$140,000
A growing HR consulting organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Consultant to serve as the primary HR partner for a portfolio of clients. This role requires someone who can provide both strategic guidance and hands-on HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
Hospitality or restaurant industry HR experience is required for this role. The ideal candidate will understand the pace, employee relations needs, compliance considerations, staffing challenges, and operational realities of supporting hospitality, restaurant, or similar service-based workforces.
The Human Resources Consultant will manage client relationships, lead HR projects, provide employee relations and compliance guidance, support HR operations, and ensure client needs are handled professionally and effectively.
Serve as the main HR contact and trusted advisor for assigned clients
Manage client relationships and provide responsive, professional HR support
Lead and execute HR projects from start to finish, ensuring successful completion and client satisfaction
Advise clients on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions, workplace investigations, accommodations, leaves, and terminations
Develop and update employee handbooks, HR policies, job descriptions, offer letters, and other HR documentation
Deliver HR training on workplace policies, harassment prevention, performance management, compliance, and HR best practices
Support onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS implementation, payroll processes, and other HR operations
Provide both strategic HR guidance and day-to-day operational support
Lead and facilitate complex employee meetings and workplace issue discussions
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment when handling sensitive employee and client matters
5+ years of broad Human Resources experience across the employee lifecycle
Required: HR experience within the hospitality, restaurant, or closely related service industry
Strong employee relations experience, including performance management, investigations, disciplinary actions, accommodations, leaves, and terminations
Experience developing handbooks, policies, job descriptions, offer letters, and HR documentation
Working knowledge of employment law compliance and HR best practices
Experience with HRIS systems, benefits administration, onboarding, and payroll-related HR processes
Strong project management, organizational, and client relationship skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and work independently
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Professional, flexible, and comfortable supporting both strategic and hands-on HR needs
