Qualifications:
- Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Previous experience in a school setting highly desired
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with therapists, teachers, and families
- Ability to adapt to different environments and age groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic interventions under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Implement IEP-mandated therapy sessions for students with varying needs
- Document progress and maintain confidential student records
- Participate in IEP and team meetings as needed
- Facilitate adaptive activities to promote student independence in school routines
- Travel between multiple campuses within the Bethlehem area as assigned
