Provide outstanding service to customers regarding their optical needs. You must be able to possess strong sales skills by demonstrating a high level of knowledge about our products and determine our patient’s needs. Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
-Measure, fit, repair and dispense eyewear
-Discuss patient needs, occupationally or hobby related
-Maintain knowledge and awareness of current trends or new technology
- Order, verify and receive complete eyewear
-Troubleshoot with patients if there are any difficulties with prescription or frames
-Manage expectations for new patients and educate existing patients
-Bill vision insurance appropriately and explain to patients their benefits and out of pocket cost
- Contact lens insertion and removal training
-Maintain a clean and visually appealing optical dispensary and lab
- Coordinate and/or update with doctors and team members of any changes made
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
