Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services, perform detailed patient assessments, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient-centered care. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical histories for patients across all age groups, utilizing advanced clinical assessment skills.
- Prescribe medications, administer injections, and perform procedures.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as eClinicalWorks to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing service delivery standards.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner with current certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
- Proven experience working in diverse clinical settings such as urgent care, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, or outpatient clinics.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medical terminology, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Ability to perform procedures such as suturing and basic life support (BLS).
- Experience working with special populations including pediatrics (infant/toddler/neonatal), geriatrics, individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders.
- Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-10 coding standards, Workers’ Compensation law, hospice & palliative medicine practices is desirable.
- Excellent client communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care; ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
