Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the bar team, including bartenders, servers, and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Oversee all aspects of bar operations, including food preparation, beverage service, and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs related to food and beverage production
- Ensure excellent customer service by engaging with guests, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a lively yet professional atmosphere
- Coordinate shift schedules, monitor performance, and provide ongoing training to enhance team skills in food handling, serving techniques, and hospitality management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with sanitation procedures and industry best practices
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for accurate order processing and financial operations management
Experience
- Proven management experience in food service or restaurant management with a focus on bar operations
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, food safety management, sanitation procedures, and kitchen management
- Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively within the food and beverage industry
- Strong background in hospitality management with excellent customer service skills
- Experience managing inventory control, cost management, and financial operations in a restaurant or bar setting
- Familiarity with catering or banquet experience is a plus
- Previous experience working with POS systems and managing shift schedules is highly desirable
