Fora Dermatology is actively seeing a motivated, skilled Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner to join our state-of-the art practice in order to better serve our community.
Physician Assistants / Nurse Practitioners work hand in hand with our knowledgeable clinical team to provide excellent medical, surgical and/or cosmetic dermatologic care to our patients. Under the supervision of our board-certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs surgeon, the Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioners is responsible for completing patient examinations, performing routine procedures, instructing and counseling patients by prescribing therapeutic regimens, ensuring that the patient’s treatment is appropriately monitored, and completing administrative duties in order to support the clinic.
This full-time position is primarily located in Mooresville, NC, but may require travel to neighboring towns as the practice continues to expand. Qualifications & Licensure:
- Successful completion of a registered Physician Assistant education program.
- Board certification and licensure to practice as a physician assistant in North Carolina.
- Maintains PA licensure and certifications with CME annual requirements.
- CPR Certification.
- At least 2 years experience in dermatology specialty required
- Proficient in technology and computer skills. Ability to work with Electronic Health Records and other related systems.
- Maintain all certifications through association programs.
- Regulatory compliance of OIG, HIPAA, and OSHA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, time management and organization skills, and problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
