Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal assembly according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Cook and plate dishes efficiently, maintaining consistency and quality throughout service
- Support food safety protocols by handling ingredients properly and maintaining a clean workspace
- Assist with menu planning and daily prep work to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Manage food storage, rotation, and inventory to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- Collaborate with team members to meet service deadlines and deliver excellent customer experiences
- Follow all health department regulations and safety standards diligently during food preparation and service
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or culinary environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic cooking techniques
- Experience with meal preparation, food industry practices, and catering is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
