Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver/ Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the safe and efficient delivery of goods, ensuring that products are loaded, transported, and unloaded with care. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work collaboratively. Other duties include assisting service technicians as a helper as needed.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading equipment.
- Ensure that all items are securely loaded to prevent damage during transit.
- Help navigate routes and deliver packages to designated locations.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks for moving heavy items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the delivery vehicle and warehouse.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
- Assist service technicians as needed.
Skills
- Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Experience with commercial driving is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading tasks.
- Strong teamwork skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with drivers and other team members.
