Subway Sandwich Artist - Part-Time with Potential for Full-Time We are looking for a dependable, energetic Sandwich Artist to join our team at our busy 24-hour Subway location. This is a part-time position with the potential to become full-time based on performance, reliability, availability, and the needs of the restaurant. Scheduling may be adjusted based on the right candidate's availability, experience, and performance. Previous Subway, restaurant, drive-thru, cashier, or fast-food experience is strongly preferred because this is a fast-paced location. However, experience is not required for a reliable candidate who learns quickly, works with urgency, and is willing to be trained. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet customers in a cheerful, friendly, and helpful manner. Prepare sandwiches and other menu items neatly, accurately, and quickly. Provide excellent customer service throughout every interaction. Learn the complete menu and explain available items to customers. Operate the Point of Sale system and cash register. Accept payments, make accurate change, and follow cash-handling procedures. Follow cash-in and shift-accounting procedures. Restock meats, vegetables, sauces, bread, cups, and other supplies throughout the shift. Follow all food-handling, safety, sanitation, and temperature-control procedures. Keep the sandwich line, lobby, restrooms, dishes, equipment, and work areas clean. Complete food preparation, cleaning, stocking, opening, or closing duties as assigned. Follow Subway formulas, portion standards, policies, and procedures. Maintain a clean and professional appearance. Complete required University of Subway training courses. Perform light paperwork and other assigned restaurant duties. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Someone who can work quickly while remaining accurate during busy periods. Dependable attendance and punctuality. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Strong customer-service and communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks without constant supervision. Willingness to clean, stock, prepare food, and help wherever needed. Previous Subway, restaurant, drive-thru, cashier, or fast-food experience is preferred but not required. Flexible availability is helpful, but scheduling will be discussed based on the candidate and the needs of the restaurant.
