We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SUE Technician to join our growing Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) team. This is an entry-level opportunity with strong growth potential for individuals interested in utility investigation, infrastructure, and construction support services.

Preferred Requirements:
- Some utility designation or subsurface utility locating experience (preferred but not required)
- Experience in construction, surveying, civil engineering support, or underground utilities is a plus
- Ability to read construction drawings is helpful
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
What You'll Do:
- Assist with utility designation using electromagnetic locating equipment
- Support vacuum excavation operations (air and/or hydro excavation)
- Mark utilities according to ASCE 38 standards
- Collect and document field data accurately
- Maintain equipment and vehicles
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Communicate clearly with crew members, project managers, and clients
Requirements:
- Clean background
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to travel out of town and stay overnight as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent.
