Key Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) licensure in Connecticut
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a variety of student needs and work effectively across multiple schools
Position Details & Responsibilities:
- 20 hours per week, with 3 workdays (flexible days; work between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.)
- Serve students across the district, coordinating with staff and families
- Deliver individualized and small group PT sessions in accordance with IEPs
- Maintain accurate student records and progress notes
- Participate in meetings and collaborate on student support strategies
- Support students in building independence and maximizing participation in educational programs
