Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional, and personalized assistance
- Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously
- Provide information about onboard services, activities, dining, entertainment, and facilities
- Coordinate guest requests with housekeeping, dining, entertainment, shore excursions, and other departments
- Assist guests with reservations, bookings, schedules, and service arrangements
- Maintain accurate guest records, service requests, reports, and documentation
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate complex issues to management when necessary
- Assist with check-in, embarkation, disembarkation, and other guest service procedures
- Process payments, service charges, refunds, and other transactions when required
- Communicate important announcements, schedules, and operational updates to guests
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming guest services area
- Protect guest privacy and handle confidential information appropriately
- Follow company policies, maritime regulations, safety procedures, and emergency protocols
- Support special events, guest activities, and onboard programs
- Perform additional guest services, hospitality, and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in cruise operations, hotels, resorts, restaurants, tourism, hospitality, or customer service preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Professional appearance and positive, service-oriented attitude
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation or customer management systems
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment
Preferred Skills
- Cruise ship, hotel, resort, or hospitality experience
- Experience working with international guests and diverse cultures
- Knowledge of reservation, POS, CRM, or guest management systems
- Strong customer relationship and problem-solving skills

- Additional language skills are a plus
