Security Officer – Winterthur Public Safety Department (Part-Time)
Winterthur Public Safety is seeking dependable part-time professionals to join our team. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols of Winterthur grounds and facilities, using both CCTV and physical inspections.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, utilizing de-escalation and conflict management techniques.
- Monitor surveillance systems and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
- Provide first aid/CPR as needed until emergency services arrive.
- Enforce access control procedures for employees, visitors, and vendors.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required.
- Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
Qualifications
- Experience in public safety, security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and security operations.
- Ability to patrol large areas on foot or by vehicle.

Pay: $15.25 - $16.00 per hour
