Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Originator licensed in Florida to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will guide clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements while delivering exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will possess strong financial sales skills, a solid understanding of mortgage products, and the ability to effectively negotiate and close loans.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients in understanding mortgage options and guide them through the loan origination process
- Conduct credit analysis and evaluate clients’ financial situations to recommend appropriate loan products
- Prepare and submit loan applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
- Maintain knowledge of FNMA guidelines, TILA regulations, and Fair Housing regulations
- Collaborate with underwriting, escrow, and mortgage servicing teams to ensure smooth loan processing
- Utilize financial and loan origination software to manage client information and track loan progress
- Provide outstanding customer service by responding to client questions and concerns promptly
- Stay updated on mortgage industry trends and regulatory changes
Requirements
- Active Florida Mortgage Loan Originator License (NMLS – FLO)
- Experience in financial services or mortgage loan origination preferred
- Strong negotiation and sales skills with the ability to close loans effectively
- Knowledge of banking practices, contracts, escrow processes, and underwriting standards
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of credit analysis and mortgage servicing practices preferred
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
