This role is part-time with the following schedule: Friday-Tuesday. While our base wage is minimal, given our generous incentive plan and tip earning potential, this position can typically earn an extra $7.00-$11.00 per hour.
As a Busser, you play a vital behind the scenes role in delivering an exceptional Visitor Center experience. You’ll help maintain the pristine look and feel of our tasting spaces while supporting Servers and Bartenders to ensure service runs smoothly from the first pour to the final farewell. This is a hands on, fast paced role perfect for someone who enjoys teamwork, movement, and contributing to memorable guest moments.
What You’ll Do
- Support Servers and Bartenders by staying in close communication and responding quickly to service demands
- Be alert and attentive to guest , interacting and anticipating their need for refills and table service, successfully contributing to our standard of exceptional customer service
- Open and maintain bussing stations, ensuring all necessary items are stocked for daily service
- Keep the Visitor Center, tasting areas, and common spaces clean, organized, and guest ready
- Promptly clear and reset tables, chairs, and cushions to prepare for the next guests
- Maintain clean, polished, and fully stocked glassware throughout service
- Assist with food delivery, water service, and refills while anticipating guest and Server needs
- Set up and break down furniture, tableware, and event spaces as needed
- Maintain stocked refrigerators with cold wine, juices, and water
- Dispose of trash, recycling, and compost properly throughout the day
- Follow all cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures with care and consistency
- Adapt priorities throughout the day to best support guests and the service team
What You Bring
- Prior busser experience in a restaurant or winery setting is preferred
- A warm, positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever help is needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- Excellent communication skills and a team first mindset
- Ability to stay calm, efficient, and gracious in a fast paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift (up to 40 lbs with assistance), and work outdoors or indoors as needed
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
- A clean, professional appearance aligned with our brand standards
- Interest in wine, hospitality, and the Napa/Sonoma experience is a plus
- Willingness to complete and maintain Responsible Beverage Service certification (must be at least 21 years of age)
