ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Bachelor's Degree in any field from a regionally accredited college or university, with a teaching certification at the elementary or secondary level, AND demonstrated teaching experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education from a regionally accredited college or university, AND demonstrated teaching experience.
- Master's Degree in Education from a regionally accredited college or university.
Current Instructor status certification in BLS, ACLS, or PALS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Significant teaching experience at the college or community college level.
Course management system (Desire2Learn, Canvas, Blackboard, Angel, etc.) experience.
Online teaching experience or Michigan Virtual University certification or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to utilize a variety of teaching methodologies, including online strategies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including email, electronic calendars, presentation software, etc.
