Martinus Group is expanding across North America, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to help lead the successful delivery of several rail infrastructure projects we have been awarded across the country.
As a Senior Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in the planning, coordination and delivery of major rail infrastructure projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, clients and subcontractors, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
You'll be trusted to lead engineering outcomes, mentor emerging engineers and contribute to continuous improvement across our projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead engineering planning and project delivery activities.

Develop and manage project schedules, work packs and construction methodologies.

Coordinate technical design reviews and resolve engineering issues.

Manage project documentation, reporting and quality assurance requirements.

Monitor project costs, forecasting and productivity.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.

Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Support procurement and contract administration activities.

Mentor and develop junior engineers and project team members.

Drive continuous improvement and innovative engineering solutions
Ideally you will hold the following:

A degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

8+ years' experience delivering civil, rail or heavy infrastructure projects.

Experience managing complex construction projects from planning through completion.

Strong knowledge of project controls, cost management and scheduling.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving capability.

A commitment to safety and delivering quality outcomes.

Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration, or eligibility to obtain registration, is highly regarded.
