This position will focus on the evaluation and treatment of mental health clients, assisting with mental health evaluations and providing counseling services to clients after evaluating their condition. Qualified individuals will have a background in mental health, strong written and oral communication skills and a commitment to professional growth.
Violanti Mental Health Counseling is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Psychotherapist. Remote, In Person, or Hybrid Psychotherapist- LMHCs are strongly encouraged to apply. 3 years post graduate supervised experience encouraged. Experience and interest in working with children, teens, and adolescents also encouraged.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with individuals, families, and/or couples.
- Schedule new client inquires- maintain your own schedule.
- Develop comprehensive and unique goal-oriented treatment plans that reflect therapeutic interventions addressing the client's direct needs.
- Gather and document client's information.
- File information and documents in a timely manner.
- Be able to explain and discuss diagnostic procedures with a client or caregiver.
- Complete progress notes and treatment plans
- Perform psychotherapy to facilitate wellness
- Be able to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues
- Engage in marketing when necessary
