Janitorial Manager
Job Description/Responsibilities
- Conducts business in a professional manner
- Exhibits strong leadership skills
- Computer literate
- Supervises, coordinates, and directs the activities/duties of the janitorial staff
- Inspects work performed to ensure conformance to specifications, established standards, and expectations
- Trains staff in janitorial methods and procedures and proper operation of equipment
- Issues janitorial supplies and equipment to staff to ensure quality and timely delivery of services
- Investigate complaints regarding janitorial work and take appropriate corrective action
- Prepare janitorial supply orders
- Maintain inventory control of janitorial supplies (Toilet tissue, paper towels, soaps/sanitizers, etc.) and equipment (Vacuum cleaners, buffers, carpet extractors, brooms, mops, etc.)
- Complete monthly preventive maintenance program for janitorial equipment
- Performs related work as assigned/needed
- Communicate on a daily basis with the Director of Buildings and Grounds
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
