Position Summary
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & Managing Partner is responsible for leading the overall vision, strategy, growth, and day-to-day operations of Rolling Waves Brewing & Distillery. This executive oversees all aspects of the business, including brewery operations, hospitality, distribution, contract brewing, financial performance, sales, marketing, strategic partnerships, investor relations, and organizational development.
The CEO serves as the primary leader and ambassador of the company, driving innovation, operational excellence, financial sustainability, and long-term value for partners, investors, employees, and customers.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesExecutive Leadership
- Develop and execute the company's long-term strategic vision and business plan.
- Lead all departments, including brewing, taproom, kitchen, sales, marketing, finance, operations, and administration.
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing leadership team.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative company culture.
- Make executive decisions that support profitability, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
- Establish company goals and monitor organizational performance.
Business Development & Strategic Growth
- Identify and develop new revenue opportunities through wholesale distribution, contract brewing, private-label production, special events, and strategic partnerships.
- Expand Rolling Waves Brewing & Distillery throughout Florida and targeted regional markets.
- Pursue mergers, acquisitions, licensing opportunities, and expansion initiatives.
- Lead the development of new beer, spirits, ready-to-drink beverages, and non-alcoholic products.
- Build strategic relationships with distributors, retailers, restaurants, hospitality groups, and community organizations.
Investor Relations & Capital Development
- Lead capital fundraising initiatives to support company growth and expansion.
- Identify, recruit, and cultivate relationships with qualified investors and strategic partners.
- Present investment opportunities, including equity offerings of up to 10% company ownership, subject to ownership approval, legal review, and applicable securities laws.
- Prepare investor presentations, financial projections, business plans, and due diligence materials.
- Maintain regular communication with partners and investors regarding company performance, strategic initiatives, and financial results.
- Negotiate partnership agreements that align with the company's long-term vision.
- Develop long-term strategies for capital investment and future expansion.
Financial Management
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitor revenue, profitability, EBITDA, labor costs, food costs, and operating expenses.
- Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Ensure healthy cash flow, responsible capital allocation, and financial accountability.
- Oversee relationships with financial institutions, accountants, and auditors.
Brewery & Hospitality Operations
- Oversee brewery production, taproom operations, kitchen operations, private events, and overall guest experience.
- Ensure consistent product quality, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer service.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including TTB and Florida alcohol licensing requirements.
- Support inventory management, production planning, quality assurance, and operational improvements.
- Promote a culture of safety, cleanliness, and continuous improvement.
Sales & Marketing
- Lead the company's branding, marketing, and public relations strategy.
- Expand wholesale distribution, key account relationships, and contract brewing opportunities.
- Support digital marketing, social media, website development, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
- Represent Rolling Waves Brewing & Distillery at festivals, trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences.
- Strengthen community engagement through partnerships, charitable initiatives, and local events.
Human Resources & Leadership
- Recruit, hire, develop, and retain exceptional team members.
- Conduct leadership meetings, performance evaluations, and succession planning.
- Promote professional development and employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and workplace policies.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and performance-driven work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of seven (7) years of executive leadership, brewery, hospitality, beverage, or business management experience.
- Strong financial, operational, and strategic planning skills.
- Experience with fundraising, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, or business development is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Working knowledge of brewery operations, distribution, hospitality management, and alcohol industry regulations.
- Proven ability to lead multiple departments while driving long-term organizational growth.

Mission
Lead Rolling Waves Brewing & Distillery in becoming one of Florida's premier craft beverage companies by producing exceptional products, delivering memorable guest experiences, expanding distribution, growing contract brewing services, building strategic partnerships, attracting long-term investors, and creating sustainable value for employees, partners, customers, and shareholders.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
