Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our dynamic manufacturing facility team. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, electrical blueprint reading, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Repair and replace components such as motors, belts, valves, sensors, and wiring using precision measuring instruments and welding skills.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and equipment status updates.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics with tools like ammeters, ohmmeters, and low voltage testers to identify faults in electrical systems.
- Operate industrial equipment such as scissor lifts and perform HVAC/R maintenance to ensure environmental controls are functioning correctly.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting pneumatic systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other automation components for optimal performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with strong industrial mechanic skills.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and electrical maintenance.
- Ability to read schematics and electrical blueprints accurately; experience with industrial electrician tasks is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Skilled in welding ( welding preferred), using precision measuring instruments for accurate repairs.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management; technical sales experience is a plus for customer-facing roles.
- Strong analysis skills combined with excellent problem-solving abilities; fluency in English required for clear communication.
- Valid certification or experience operating scissor lifts; knowledge of industrial maintenance standards is essential.
