Responsibilities:
- Plan, install, and maintain electrical systems for commercial and residential construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installations
- Supervise and mentor journeyman and apprentice electricians on job sites
- Ensure all electrical work meets NEC codes, local regulations, and safety standards
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and inspectors throughout project lifecycle
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently and safely
- Conduct inspections and quality control checks on completed electrical work
Requirements:
- Valid Texas Master Electrician license required
- 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience in a construction environment
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes
- Proven experience supervising and leading electrical crews
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor on job sites
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
