Job Description:
The Barn at Aspen Acres is a wedding and event venue located between Belle Fourche and Spearfish, in the Northern Black Hills of South Dakota. We are looking for a venue/cabin cleaner & weekday staff to join our team, to help maintain our facilities in a clean and orderly condition. Persons in this position will be responsible for performing general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and emptying trash cans, prep tasks for events, and weekday event staff.
The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning The Barn venue in between weddings, when we have back-to-back events. This includes general cleaning of the bathrooms, the high-traffic entryway, and bridal loft, like sweeping, moping, cleaning mirrors, wiping surfaces, etc.
- Cleaning Cabins in between overnight stays. This includes:- Cleaning + sanitizing bathrooms, kitchen, and other areas inside cabin.- Dusting furniture + other surfaces- Cleaning windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces- Sweeping and mopping floors- Making beds and doing laundryJob Type: Part-time, 10-30 hours per week schedule:
- Weekday availability required
- 5am-1pm on weekends in between weddings/events.
- 10am-2pm during the week, or on weekends when venue flips are unnecessary.
Notes:
- This position will require you to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- We can be flexible + accommodating to your school or personal schedule if we know in advance.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
