Waterbury Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to provide oversight to the business office, including scheduling, billing collections and financial reporting. Lead and support an experienced team of revenue cycle staff. Our team partners with physician practices and patients, to deliver high-quality revenue cycle management.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise Revenue Cycle staff to support daily operations

Oversee and manage all aspects of the revenue cycle including detailed oversight of each staff member’s role and responsibilities

Lead and support a team through the full Revenue Cycle Management process

Monitor team performance and help drive productivity and accuracy

Motivate staff and maintain a positive, solutions-focused team culture

Train, mentor, and develop team members to succeed in their roles

Maintain and update fee schedules

Maintain relationships with surgeons and their scheduling offices

Point of contact for software and systems issues

Timely filing of required OHCA forms

Timely data submission to finance

Maintain managed care contracts and negotiation schedules

Salary: $70,000 – 90,000 per year (depending on experience)

Requirements:
Education
Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
Required Qualifications

5 years of medical billing experience

3 years of management or team leadership experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities· Ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgement, discretion, and decision-making to support organizational objectives· Ability to analyze situations accurately and take effective action· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, physician offices, third party payors and patients· Ability to work within tight timelines and with multiple competing priorities· Extensive systems’ knowledge including MS Office, Excel
