Position Overview
The Business Services Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting budget planning and financial performance analysis critical to senior leadership for operational decision-making. The analyst partners with cross-functional teams to provide insights, streamline financial processes, and support long-term strategic planning. Responsibilities include budget tracking, forecasting, month‑end close processes, and business case analysis. Assist the client in executing the yearly budget strategy by minimizing risk and identifying opportunities.
Required Skillsets

This is a hybrid position based in Warren, Michigan – required to be in office 3 days a week. Local travel may be required
- Knowledge of procedural controls and data validation techniques required

Strong knowledge of the MS Office suite, including Word and PowerPoint; MS Excel proficiency is a must (examples: VLOOKUP, Macros, PivotTables); Power BI and Excel Power Query are a plus

Demonstrated experience, interest, and aptitude in business, technology, and analytics

Understanding of financial and budget compliance concepts; SAP/ARIBA experience is a plus

Financial reporting/forecasting experience

Financial modeling expertise is a plus

Proven written and oral communication skills

Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and a strong record of leadership in a work setting or team environment

Experience applying strong organizational skills in a matrixed environment

Education

Bachelor’s degree—degrees in information systems, computer science, finance, or business administration are desirable, but all disciplines will be considered
