Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Greenhouse Assistant Manager to lead and support our daily retail & growing operations in our 17,000 square-foot greenhouse.
Duties
- Backup cashier or head cashier as needed. Must be able to memorize the names of 100's of varieties of plants to ensure accuracy of plant labels at checkout.
- Restocking retail merchandise and checkout supplies from outdoor storage.
- Weeding, removing dead leaves, watering, and potting plants.
- Prioritizing overall quality control, and delegating daily responsibilities to the rest of the team in coordination with the owners.
- Ensuring excellent customer service is the #1 priority.
The greenhouse can become as hot as 95 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer, so applicants should be confident in their ability to tolerate the hot & humid conditions.
Weekend availability is required (Friday-Sunday)
Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
