Director of Finance / Controller
Executive Leadership Track
Continental Flooring Company is looking for someone who wants to help lead a successful 47-year-old company—and ultimately earn a seat at the executive table.
We are a successful family-owned Arizona contractor specializing in nationwide flooring and ceiling tile services, primarily for government and institutional clients. For nearly 50 years, we've built a reputation for integrity, financial stability, and long-term relationships with both our customers and our employees.
Many members of our leadership team have been with us for decades. As several prepare for retirement, we're intentionally investing in the next generation of leaders who want to grow with the company and assume increasing responsibility over time.
We may not build the next generation of self-driving cars or cure cancer, but everybody needs flooring! As one of the strongest companies in our industry, we offer a high-quality work environment with experienced mentors who believe in a "work with" rather than "work for" philosophy.
This Isn't a Traditional Controller Position
We're looking for someone who has already proven they can run an accounting department—but is ready to broaden their impact beyond it.
You'll work directly alongside our CFO in a planned 18-24 month succession process, beginning with the day-to-day accounting responsibilities that keep our business running and expanding into budgeting, financial planning, executive decision support, banking relationships, and our upcoming NetSuite ERP implementation.
We're looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, improving processes, partnering with other departments, and helping the business make better decisions—not simply reporting the numbers after the fact.
If your long-term goal is to become a company's financial leader, we'd like to meet you.
