Responsibilities
- Plan and execute engaging volleyball training sessions tailored to different skill levels
- Lead team practices, drills, and game strategies to improve player performance
- Foster a positive team environment emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline
- Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including AED operation when necessary
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff about team updates and performance
- Promote a fun, inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and personal development
Qualifications
- Prior experience in sports coaching or volleyball instruction preferred but not required; coaching certifications are a plus
- Knowledge of volleyball techniques, rules, and game strategies
- Experience working with children or youth in a coaching or teaching capacity
- Strong communication skills to motivate and guide athletes of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to manage behavior effectively and foster teamwork among young players
