Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair appliance malfunctions, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install new appliances, HVAC components, and mechanical systems following safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct troubleshooting for complex issues involving air conditioning, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), and mechanical systems repair.
- Operate company vehicles to transport tools, parts, or equipment to various job sites as needed.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory records for all repairs and installations.
- Collaborate with team members to lead small maintenance projects or assist in larger construction or renovation efforts.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with strong appliance repair skills and mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints related to HVAC/R systems and mechanical equipment.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, refrigeration maintenance, kitchen equipment servicing, and appliance installation.
- Knowledge of maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices within industrial or commercial environments.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various conditions.
- Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is a plus.
- Leadership qualities that enable you to mentor junior team members or oversee small projects effectively.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
