Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and manage medical supplies to maintain a clean and efficient clinical environment.
- Collect patient histories, measure vital signs, and document medical information accurately using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Triage patients effectively by assessing urgency levels and prioritizing care based on clinical protocols.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, chronic disease management, and health promotion strategies.
- Handle confidential medical records with strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and ensure accurate medical documentation.
- Phlebotomy and surgical assisting skills helpful.
- Multi-language skills helpful.
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program with current WA State certification.
- Proven experience in acute care settings with knowledge of physiology, anatomy, nursing principles, and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in Medical software applications including EMR/EHR systems for managing electronic health records efficiently.
- Strong understanding of health regulation policies such as HIPAA to ensure compliance in all patient interactions.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic life support (BLS), CPR, and emergency care procedures confidently.
- Knowledge of triage protocols, disease prevention practices, and chronic disease management strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly and professionally.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
