Whale Harbor Group Restaurants is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager and General Manager to join one of the Florida Keys' premier hospitality groups.
Our growing family of restaurants includes multiple high-volume waterfront concepts, a steakhouse, marina operations, bars, and exciting new ventures currently under development. We are looking for leaders who thrive in a fast-paced environment, lead by example, and are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences while building outstanding teams.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily restaurant operations with a hands-on management style.
- Drive sales while controlling labor, food, and beverage costs.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
- Ensure operational excellence, cleanliness, and company standards.
- Manage scheduling, inventory, and financial performance.
- Analyze reports and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the Director of Operations and Ownership to achieve company goals.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3-5 years of restaurant management experience (high-volume experience preferred).
- Proven leadership and team development skills.
- Strong understanding of labor management, food and beverage cost controls, and P&L performance.
- Experience with restaurant POS and scheduling systems (Toast and Sling experience is a plus).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead from the floor with a positive, guest-focused attitude.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
