We’re looking for a hard-working Painter or Painter's Assistant to join our crew. If you have some experience in the trade, take genuine pride in doing a clean job, and want to work in an environment that feels like a tight-knit team rather than a corporate grind, you’ll fit right in. This role is perfect for someone who knows the basics, shows up on time, and wants to keep learning and sharpening their skills alongside an experienced team—minus the stress of running the whole job site.
Our crew handles a solid mix of high-quality work, and we pride ourselves on doing it right. Here’s a quick look at the types of projects you’ll be helping us tackle:
- Residential & Commercial: Full interior and exterior painting for both homes and commercial properties.
- Shop Prefinishing: Staining and painting trim, doors, and other components in a controlled shop environment before they hit the field.
- On-Site Trim Work: Delivering crisp, clean trim painting right on the job site.
- Specialty Prep & Repair: Comprehensive wall preparation, including popcorn ceiling removal, skim coating, and drywall patching.
What You'll Do (The Day-to-Day)
- Show Up & Hustle: Be on time, bring a positive attitude, and be ready to work hard with the crew every day.
- Tackle the Prep: Help out with the most important part of the job—sanding, scraping, taping off, caulking, and prepping surfaces so the final finish looks flawless.
- Apply Coatings: Grab a brush, roller, or sprayer to help apply paints and stains across interiors, exteriors, and shop prefinish items.
- Learn & Sharpen Your Craft: Take direction from the Crew Leader, pick up advanced techniques (like airless spraying, skim coating, or drywall patching), and ask questions to improve your skills.
- Keep It Clean & Safe: Maintain a hazard-free work area, use proper safety gear when needed, and make sure the job site is clean and dialed-in at the end of the day.
What You Bring to the Table
- Some Trade Experience: You’ve spent some time on job sites, understand the basics of painting, and know your way around a brush and roller.
- Reliability: You are dependable and show up on time. This is a non-negotiable for our crew.
- Willingness to Learn: You are motivated to get better at the trade, take constructive feedback well, and want to expand your skill set.
- Hard Worker: You don't shy away from prep work, sanding, or cleaning, and you take pride in a job well done.
- Team Mindset: You are easygoing, drama-free, and work well with others in a collaborative environment.
We deeply appreciate hard work and solid craftsmanship, but we don't believe in micromanagement or a stressful work environment. We work hard, we do beautiful work, and we have a good time doing it. If you want to build your skills with a talented crew where you're actually valued, let's talk!
