Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sushi shop Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting with meal preparation, food handling, and ensuring that the operation smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary work environment at all times.
- Perform daily preparation tasks, including cutting and preparing vegetables.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment as needed.
- Assist the sushi chef in finalizing and packaging sushi orders
- Support general kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient work flow
Qualifications
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential
- Familiarity with knife
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
