Riverview Retirement Community is currently seeking a dedicated staff member who would like to learn the trade of being a Maintenance Technician to join our team part-time with the potential to become a full-time employee as Riverview grows. As a vital member of our community, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and functionality of our facilities.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing work such as faucet and toilet repair.
- Maintain and replace electrical fixtures and light bulbs as needed.
- Assist with moving items and setting up for events.
- Conduct interior and exterior painting of the facility as required.
- Install and check batteries of smoke alarms and assist the Fire Marshall with inspections.
- Operate power tools, electrical supplies, dollies, and vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to multiple pieces of equipment, such as logging temperatures, changing furnace filters etc.
- Ability to replace and repair hardware, locks etc.
- Ability and willingness to work other duties as assigned to help ensure the smooth operations of Riverview Retirement community.
