The Land Advisors Organization is a nationwide team of respected, connected, and talented land professionals that provide advisory and brokerage services to clients who need a rock-solid, data-driven roadmap for acquiring, selling, financing, or developing land and land-related assets. Our corporate headquarters is in Scottsdale, Arizona, and we have 31 offices across the nation.
Position
We are currently accepting resumes for a part-time (20 hours/week) position as an Executive Assistant/ Property Researcher in our Kansas City Metro office. As part of a small but growing Kansas City team, this individual will play a critical role in supporting our lead Advisor and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting our lead Advisor in the preparation of sales and marketing proposals and listing agreements.
- Serving as the liaison between the Kansas City Metro office and our corporate headquarters.
- Maintaining the Land Advisors proprietary database of land parcel opportunities in Kansas City (including but not limited to owner contact information, transaction details, sales history, and support documents).
- Collecting other market information as requested.
- Preparing maps of parcels, target areas, and/or regional corridors as requested by our Advisors.
- Maintaining land transaction contracts, including listings, letters of intent, and pending contracts.
- Researching properties, including making phone calls to gather details when needed.
- Managing both scheduled tasks and unexpected “pop-up” needs.
- Performing other administrative tasks as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be:
- Curious, intuitive, and a natural investigator.
- A quick learner who works well independently.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable making phone calls to research properties.
- Proactive with the ability to juggle both routine and unexpected responsibilities.
- Skilled in written and verbal communication.
- Outgoing, friendly, and a strong team player—this is critical!
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (familiarity with Salesforce is a plus).
- Extremely comfortable with Internet search engines (and AI tools) and able to leverage them for research tasks.
- Backed by two years of real estate-related experience and/or training (preferred).
Compensation / Other
This is a unique opportunity to work in a positive, collaborative environment with considerable autonomy. Compensation is commensurate with experience, and as a W-2 employee you will be eligible for annual raises and bonuses.
